The chief of the Goodhue Fire Department was killed in a tractor mischance after the fire fighter's move in Wanamingo early Monday morning.
Michael Kehren, 58, was murdered in the mischance, as per the Goodhue County Sheriff's Office.
Two feed wagons being pulled by a tractor were transporting individuals after the 45th Annual Benefit Dance sorted out by the Wanamingo Firefighters Relief Association. Kehren was riding on one of the wagons.
At around 1:49 a.m. Monday, the tractor ceased at fifth Street and Nelson Drive in Wanamingo to let individuals off, said the Sheriff's Office. The tractor then turned southbound onto Nelson Drive, and was passing Sandy Court when a few wagon travelers hollered for the driver to stop.
Agents said Kehren had gotten onto the tow bar between the two roughage wagons. In any case, he fell, hitting his head on the asphalt before being keep running over by the second wagon. Kehren passed on at the scene.
