Bay Roberts RCMP have affirmed that a 18-year-old young girl died in a head-on impact on Route 73 just before 6:00 p.m. Thursday. The heartbreaking mischance happened on the New Harbour Barrens, between the groups of Tilton and New Harbor.
The teen, who was a traveler in one of the vehicles, was professed dead at the scene. A 81-year-old lady and a 30-year-old man were brought to Carbonear Hospital with what are accepted to be non-life debilitating wounds. Police say all included are from the Trinity Bay - Conception Bay zone.
