A Pearl High School senior was killed in the wake of losing control of his truck Thursday evening.
The mishap happened not exactly a mile from school, WJTV reported. Tyler Porrier, 17, smashed his Chevrolet Silverado around 2:30 p.m. Thursday only minutes after classes finished.
"Examiners now investigating that accident scene agents, they'll be reproducing a few numbers to attempt to make sense of, figure an estimated speed and conversing with witnesses," Pearl Police Lieutenant Brian McGarity clarified.
Police said the truck moved over. The high schooler was proclaimed dead at the scene.
