Authorities have affirmed that two have been killed and one airlifted after a few tractor trailers and a pickup truck were included in a chain response heap up late Wednesday.
The accident started around 6:05 p.m. on eastward I-20 at State Route 113 - otherwise called Temple Carrollton Road.
Starting signs are that the main tractor trailer was voyaging east when it struck another. The second tractor trailer struck a silver pickup truck before vaulting over it and stricking a third tractor trailer. The third then struck a forward.
Division of Public Safety authorities said that the main driver was harmed and airlifted to an obscure zone healing center and the driver and traveler of the pickup truck were executed.
Charges are pending in the mischance and the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team (SCRT) has been brought in for a subsequent examination.
The driver of the truck was airlifted before troopers touched base on the scene and his name is not yet accessible. Powers are withholding the names of the casualties executed in the accident until closest relative can be advised.
Starting 9:20 p.m., the mischance was not expected clear before 10 p.m.
