59-year-old died after multi-vehicle accident on Route 17 at the JRB

A fatal multi-vehicle mischance on Route 17 at the JRB shut every single southbound path on Wednesday evening. 

Authorities were at first called to the region at 4:06 p.m. for a vehicle fire.

Police say a 2015 Ford F250, driven by Charles Mitchell Jr., was going in the southbound paths when he struck a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria. 

The effect of the accident brought about the Ford Crown Victoria to light, turn out to be completely overwhelmed on fire, and to strike the vehicle before it. 

The driver of the 1996 Ford Crown Victoria, 59-year-old Troy Mead Massey, died upon effect. 

Police say liquor was not an element in the episode. 

Mitchell was accused of neglectful driving.
