Golfer Jason Day’s family involved in car crash near TPC Boston

World No. 1 Jason Day got some alarming news in the wake of completing his first round at the Deutsche Bank Championship on Friday evening. Day's family was included in an car crash with a transport close where their RV was stopped.

Day's better half, Ellie, was taken to the doctor's facility for preparatory reasons before being discharged. Other people was unharmed in the mishap. 

"After the finish of my round today I was educated my significant other Ellie, our youngsters Dash and Lucy, and companion Katie were included in movement episode close to our RV," Day said in a discharge. "Their car was hit by a transport and Ellie was taken to the healing facility for prudent steps. Gratefully everybody is currently resting serenely and Ellie has been discharged. They will all be observed in the coming days. We need to thank the crisis administrations and healing center faculty for their help." 

Day opened his competition with a 1-under 70 on Friday as he hopes to recover the lead in the FedEx Cup in the wake of being passed a week ago by Patrick Reed.
