Indiana slammed by heavy rain, wind

UPDATE 5:26 P.M. – Indiana Black Expo has cancelled Friday night’s free concert at the American Legion Mall due to stage damage and electrical issues after storms hit the downtown area.

UPDATE 5:20 P.M. – Duke Energy reports 1,035 customers are without service. IPL reports 4,979 households are without power.

Counties under a severe thunderstorm warning until 6 p.m: Bartholomew, Decatur, Rush and Shelby. Boone and Montgomery are under severe thunderstorm warnings until 5;45 p.m.

5 P.M. – A new thunderstorm warning has been issued for Boone and Clinton counties.  The tornado warning for Clinton and Tippecanoe counties has expired.

UPDATE 4:55 P.M. – Tornado warnings and a flash flood warning were issued for several Indiana counties Friday afternoon.

The tornado warning was in effect for Clinton and Tippecanoe counties until 5 p.m. Friday.
